Tadalafil belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men. Additionally, Tadalafil may also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) in patients with a severe heart failure. Tadalafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby allowing the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited to have a penile erection. Thus, Tadalafil helps get and maintain an erection. An erection does not occur just based on when you are sexually excited. Tadalafil is used to provide erections for men only.
In order to prevent the blood vessels from relaxing and allowing for a erect reaction, blood should be allowed to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. However, this can be dangerous and may cause an erection in the future. If blood is not allowed, then the erection will not work and you will not be able to get an erection. • Antibiotics:- Clarithromycin, Erythromycin and Telithromycin
• Anti-fungals such as itraconazole and ketoconazole
• Seizure medication:- carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone
• Heart or blood pressure medication:- disopyramide, amiodarone, quinidine and procainamide
• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat
• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)

No published reports have shown the additive, potentially fatal, side effects shown when Tadalafil is taken with it. A meta-analysis of placebo-controlled clinical trials of 10 randomised trials of Tadalafil as monotherapy or as an extension treatment of nitrates for angina found that there was no evidence of a clinically significant increase in the mortality with Tadalafil (as an add-on to nitroglycerin) when compared with placebo.
However, there was a trend for a higher incidence of myopathy with Tadalafil (as an add-on to nitroglycerin) when compared with placebo.
